Exclusive #holoSerendipity Unit Interview: FUWAMOCO & Raora

We interviewed each performing unit of the upcoming hololive English 4th Concert -Serendipity-!
Thank you for your time today! In case there are any new fans reading, could you introduce yourselves and share a bit about your channel?
FUWAMOCO: “We’re hololive English -Advent-’s twin demon guard dogs, FUWAMOCO! We love to sing, dance, and play games, but most importantly we’re here to protect the Ruffians’ smiles!! BAU BAU!!”
Raora: “Ciao ciao! I’m Raora Panthera from hololive English -Justice-! RAAAOO!!! I’m a BIG CAT!! And big cat means BIG TROUBLE, capish? On my channel, I’m always drawing, playing games, and yapping with my adorable Chattini! I really love sharing everything I like with you guys, whether it’s my art, anime, games, or just silly stories from my life!! And of course, I love talking about food! I might yap a bit too much sometimes, but that’s just because I’m so happy to be here with everyone, yea!”
The upcoming hololive 4th Concert -Serendipity- is just around the corner, and you must be busy! What part of concert preparation have you been enjoying the most so far?
FUWAMOCO: “We’ve been having a lot of fun with our dance and vocal lessons! With this concert, we’d like to show off an even stronger, leveled-up FUWAMOCO! We’ve been working really hard, but knowing that we’ll be able to see all the Ruffians’ smiles out in the audience in just a little bit has made us push through all the ruff times when our paws didn’t want to move anymore! Ruffians are our number 1 source of energy and inspiration!”
Raora: “Seeing everything come together has been so cool! At first, preparing for a concert feels like a million tiny pieces—practice, recordings, notes, and checking every little detail. But then, little by little, it starts feeling real! That moment when I can finally see the whole stage in my head makes me super, super excited!!!”
How have the rehearsals for the show been going? Have you faced any memorable challenges along the way?
FUWAMOCO: “There’s one song in particular that we’ll be performing that has us get a little tongue tied… It’s quite the challenge! We’re sure you’ll be surprised to see the demon dog come out in these puppies with this performance!”
Raora: “Rehearsals have been a total blast, but also a bit of a challenge! The hardest part for me isn’t just memorizing the steps, but making sure the performance feels 100% like “me”! I want to be great at the dancing part, but I also want everyone to feel my personality on that stage! My favorite part so far is definitely chatting and being silly with everyone after dance lessons!!! Those little moments make all the hard work feel extra special! I love spending time with my friends after a long day of hard work!”
We’d love to hear the first impressions you had of your unit partner! What did you think when you first met her?
FUWAMOCO: “Raora is super duper sweet! She’s fluffy, but a different type of pink panther fluffy! We love her unique voice and how silly she can be! She’s so genuine and is always doing her best! We’re so excited to be up on the stage together with our precious cat kouhai!”
Raora: “My first impression of FUWAMOCO was just… AAAA!!!! They were so cute and sweet, but also really professional! I was so excited to finally meet them. I remember being a bit nervous because I wanted to leave a really nice impression… it was right before debut and everything felt so big and important! They had such a warm aura that I just felt happy being around them immediately! Both of them are amazing senpais, I am just so honoured to be able to work and dance and sing with them!!!”
So far, we’ve had 3 concerts for hololive English overseas. Thinking back, what is your earliest memory on a project together with your unit partner? How did you feel when working together?
FUWAMOCO: “Our earliest memory was when we first met Raora!! She was so cute and shy, and she drew us a very special shikishi sign board of a portrait of the two of us!! She gave it to us with big tears in her eyes too and it was beautiful! She was so cute! It makes us so happy to be able to sing and dance together with that same kouhai now 2 years later! She’s grown so much!”
Raora: “My earliest memory with them was right before we debuted! I remember waking up super early that morning to finish a special shikishi for them because I wanted to give them something from the heart (and hands!). I was a bundle of nerves and excitement all at once! Looking back, it’s such a precious memory because it was the start of our journey together!”
What is the trait about your unit partner that you really admire and why?
FUWAMOCO: “She really does her best and wears her heart on her sleeve! She’s always trying to learn as much as she can and it’s been lovely seeing her grow as an idol these past two years!”
Raora: “I really, really admire how hard they work! FUWAMOCO put so much love and care into everything they do, from their shows to how they talk to their Ruffians. You can totally feel their effort in every single thing! Seeing them do their best makes me want to work even harder too, yea!”
How would you describe your unit dynamic to someone who is new to hololive English?
FUWAMOCO: “Very fluffy and fuzzy and beeg!! I think you should get ready for some very cute animal energy from the 3 of us!”
Raora: “I’d describe our unit dynamic as cute, high-energy, and super warm! FUWAMOCO bring all that fluffy twin power, and I bring the big cat energy, so together it’s a very fun mix! It’s playful and sincere, and I think we can make everyone smile just by being ourselves together!”
What are you looking forward to the most, coming together as a unit? Do you share any goals for your performance?
FUWAMOCO: “We love having fun together with everyone in the audience the most! Of course, we’re the ones singing and dancing on the stage, but the performance we put on is made together with the audience there with us too! We hope to hear a lot of big BAU BAUs, NYAN NYANs, and even some WAN WANs from everyone!”
Raora: “I can’t wait to sing and dance with FUWAMOCO! The song is just perfect for us, so I’m ready to share all that energy with everyone! I hope you can feel how well our vibes match on stage and see just how much fun we’re having together!”
So, without spoiling the show, do you have any hints you can share about the performance?
FUWAMOCO: “You better be ready to use your barker! And get ready to curl those fists into cute cat and dog paws too! Throw away any embarrassment you might have had at the door and get ready to play with us during the concert! BAU BAU!”
Raora: “I think the performance is going to be super cute aaand full of energy, and very “us”! Keep an eye out for the feeling of the song and all the tiny details we worked on!!! I really think it’s the kind of performance that will make you smile right away!”
Please share a final message to your fans before the concert!
FUWAMOCO: “This is hololive English’s 4th concert! We’re so happy to be a part of this amazing journey together with you, no matter the ups or downs there may have been along the way! Let’s continue having lots of fun, make even more memories, and dance and sing more than we ever have before together during Serendipity! We can’t wait to hear your voices and see your smiles! Let’s make this hololive English’s biggest concert yet!! BAU BAU!!”
Raora: “Thank you so so so much for always supporting us! I’m working really really hard and I really cannot wait to perform again on stage!! Concerts are always exciting, but also a little emotional because I get to share something I worked so hard on with all of you. Please cheer for me and FUWAMOCO, Chattini! Let’s make a beautiful memory together! RAAAOOO!”
Stick around for the remaining interviews, coming to us at a later date!
