Exclusive #holoSerendipity Unit Interview: Ina & Kronii

We interviewed each performing unit of the upcoming hololive English 4th Concert -Serendipity-!

Thank you for your time today! In case there are any new fans reading, could you introduce yourselves and share a bit about your channel?

Ina: “WAH! Hello! I’m Ninomae Ina’nis from hololive English Myth! Despite how I look, I’m totally a normal human girl and a priestess of the Ancient Ones!”

Kronii: “Kroniichiwa, this is Ouro Kronii from hololive English Promise! I love playing games of all varieties and enjoy hanging out with the Kronies in chat with a few sass here and there. I also love doing voice acting and singing to the best that I can everyday.”

The upcoming hololive 4th Concert -Serendipity- is just around the corner, and you must be busy! What part of concert preparation have you been enjoying the most so far?

Ina: “Definitely having fun practicing the songs and interacting with the other girls! It’s always an exciting time where the entire branch gets to work together on something!”

Kronii: “Everyone’s been putting in a lot of work and it’s really cool to see everyone coming together to bring something to the fans and the community. I’m excited to see our works come to fruition.”

How have the rehearsals for the show been going? Have you faced any memorable challenges along the way?

Ina: “I think for me personally, it was definitely hard deciding on which songs I wanted to perform…I just finished performing all my original songs during Drawn to Dawn earlier this year, so I wanted to choose something a liiiittle different!”

Kronii: “It’s been a very interesting experience since every concert feels new but this one feels different. Even though there have been difficulties with schedules, I think it’s coming together and I hope it shows!”

We’d love to hear the first impressions you had of your unit partner! What did you think when you first met her?

Ina: “I’ve performed with Kronii as a group many times before, but I think it’s even more special now that it’s just us two together!! She’s always so fun to be around so I’m really happy we are in a unit together!! I get to…keep Kronii….all to myself…..hehe…hehehe”

Kronii: “I thought that Ina was talented with drawing! She draws really quickly and knows what she’s doing with her drawings when you look at the illustrations. Puns are always a big positive and I loved exchanging back-to-back puns in-game.”

So far, we’ve had 3 concerts for hololive English overseas. Thinking back, what is your earliest memory on a project together with your unit partner? How did you feel when working together?

Ina: “It’s not the earliest memory, but I still remember meeting her in person for the first time and how I found out I had so much in common with her! I think we even had the same jacket of the same color, as well as having a lot of those “you too?!” kind of moments.”

Kronii: “We had our MC together at holofes and it was a blast when we got to engage with everyone in the crowd. The energy was great back then; I can’t wait to see how it is now together when we perform on stage together!”

What is the trait about your unit partner that you really admire and why?

Ina: “I think Kronii can cover a really wide range of genres of songs while adding her unique flare to it! She has an unmatched charisma whenever she sings!!”

Kronii: “She’s very hard-working and ambitious. I can tell that she really loves hololive and makes sure to deliver (including cookies and wahs)!”

How would you describe your unit dynamic to someone who is new to hololive English?

Ina: “To me….I think we both give off that mysterious, calm vibes….I think….?!”

Kronii: “Just two punny people waiting to deliver the pun-chline to everyone.”

What are you looking forward to the most, coming together as a unit? Do you share any goals for your performance?

Ina: “There were so many choices for which song we could perform together that it was really difficult choosing…but I think it is going to be a fun performance!!”

Kronii: “I’m excited to see our energy reach the crowd and to be hyped alongside everyone else. I don’t think we’ll be disappointing them at all, so be on the lookout… I just want to see the chat explode and the crowd go wild the second our intro hits. Shared goal? Obviously, we want to nail the performance, but mostly we just want to look cooler than everyone else. (Joking. Mostly.)”

So, without spoiling the show, do you have any hints you can share about the performance?

Ina: “Hmmm….I’m not sure if my hint would ring o bell for anyone though…”

Kronii: “This song could be very clear to everyone like black and white. That’s all I’m going to say, teehee.”

Please share a final message to your fans before the concert!

Ina: “I hope everyone will enjoy Serendipity!!!!! Let’s have fun!!!!!”

Kronii: “You guys have been with me through the lows and highs and I’m always so thankful for it. I hope you know that we’ve been working hard on this! So be sure to have your light sticks ready and be cheering at the top of your lungs. See you on stage!”
